The Journey
Why I Chose This Field
My path into embryology began with frustration — the kind that only comes when you care deeply. Working in IVF labs in Nepal early in my career, I witnessed critically sensitive procedures being carried out by personnel with only 3 months of informal training. No proper mentors, no standardized protocols.
"Families trusting these labs with their deepest hopes deserved better."
Rather than accept this as normal, I chose to become the change. I pursued a rigorous 2-year Master's in Clinical Embryology in India — not a short course, but a real, comprehensive qualification. I came back with something most IVF labs in Nepal have never had: a properly trained embryologist who knows not just how to do the work, but why every step matters.
My vision goes beyond the lab bench. I want to transform the IVF landscape in Nepal — through proper standards, trained professionals, patient-first protocols, and eventually, policy that protects both families and the field.
I'm not just an asset to any IVF lab. I'm the kind of professional that changes what a lab is capable of becoming.
